Bike Transport from Noida To Kannur Overview: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Kannur is home to handloom, tile and Gulf-linked families, and a new airport has made it easier to settle. People moving there bring bikes for narrow village-style roads.
This is a long one: about 2,530 km and 7–9 days on the road. Anyone who quotes you less than a week for a haul this size should be asked, politely, how they plan to do it. The route normally follows NH44 through Bengaluru and Mysuru, then Kutta and Iritty, or the Mangaluru coast road.
| Road distance | About 2,530 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 7–9 days |
| Express transit | 4–6 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹6,900 onwards |
| Pickup | Noida and the rest of NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Kannur and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
The Mysuru to Kannur road through the ghats is slow and can close in heavy rain. The coastal route via Mangaluru is longer but sometimes safer.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Kannur. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. Rain on the west side from June to September and the north-east monsoon on the east coast from October to December slow trucks. Winter fog affects only the first day out of Noida.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from inside Noida's sectors is quickest. If you are in Delhi, Gurgaon or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
Pickup from Noida: what to expect
Noida pickups run through sectors and societies. Most apartment towers have an AOA, a guard room and a vehicle list, and Greater Noida West societies often add a gate pass. Typical starting points for Kannur bookings are Sector 75, Sector 44, Gaur City, Sector 128 and Sector 93.
Noida has the best start for Kannur: the Yamuna Expressway begins inside the city, so the vehicle gets onto the corridor without touching Delhi's roads. That alone saves roughly 50 km compared with a Delhi pickup. Peak-hour jams at the DND Flyway, Chilla border and Sector 62 can delay a late-morning loading, so an early slot is better.

Looking to Shift Your Bike from Noida to Kannur! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Noida To Kannur
There are really only three options. Here is how each one works out on this route.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
The crew comes to you, wraps the bike, ties it down inside a covered body, and delivers to your Kannur address. A commuter bike runs about ₹6,900 to ₹9,450, with 7–9 days on the road. You only need to be present at pickup and at delivery. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
On this distance, parcel trains involve more than one connection, and a bike left at a transfer station gets damaged more often than one on a single carrier. If you do try it, book a direct service where possible, and ask the parcel office at Kannur whether they take two-wheelers. More on that in our train vs truck guide.
3. Ride it yourself
2,530 km means 7 days of riding and 6 hotel nights. Fuel alone is about ₹5,350 for a commuter and about ₹8,000 for a 350cc bike. It is a real trip, not a relocation tool, and a long ride ages tyres, chain and brakes. Few people do it for a house move.

At this distance, a covered carrier is the only practical way to move the bike, unless you want an adventure. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Noida To Kannur Bike Transport Costs in 2026: What You’re Really Paying For
Prices below are what most customers pay on this route. They are ranges because the same cc can mean different weight and handling, and because carriers price by the week's load.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹6,350 – ₹8,350 | 7–9 days |

| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹8,250 – ₹11,550 | 7–9 days |

Factors That Affect Bike Shipping Cost
- Transit insurance: 2.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of ₹300. On a bike valued at ₹1,00,000 that is about ₹2,500, plus GST.
- Express delivery: adds about 25% to the transport portion and brings the time down to 4–6 days.
- Depot instead of door: if you can bring the bike to a hub or collect it from one, the ₹750 door charge and its GST drop off.
- Difficult access: a narrow lane or a low basement can mean a smaller vehicle for the last stretch, and that can cost extra. Say so when you ask for the quote.
- Premium wrap: adds about ₹900 for extra padding and a crate-style frame, worth it for a new or high-value bike.
What moves the final number on this route
- Distance. Each extra 100 km on this lane adds roughly ₹100 to a commuter bike's price. Noida to Kannur is about 2,530 km.
- Condition of the bike. A bike that will not start needs more people to load. Say so when you ask for the quote.
- Season and demand. Prices move up around Diwali, Holi and the academic year start, when more people are shifting.
- Flexibility on dates. A pickup window of three to five days is cheaper than a fixed same-day demand.
- Packing grade and insurance value. Premium wrapping adds about ₹900, and insurance is 2.5% of the declared value, so a higher declared value costs more.
- Bike size and weight. At 2,530 km a scooter starts near ₹6,350, a commuter near ₹6,900, a Royal Enfield near ₹8,250 and a sports bike near ₹13,050. Heavier bikes take more space and strapping.
- Access at both ends. A basement bay, a lift-only lobby or a lane that a truck cannot enter means extra hands or a smaller vehicle, and extra cost.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Transport from Noida
A few minutes of checking can save you a lot. Here is what to confirm before paying anyone an advance.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Kannur delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 2,530 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Look at the insurance papers. Find out what is covered (theft, accident, loading damage), what you pay first, and whom to call if something goes wrong.
- Ask for a contact number for the trip. Someone should pick up the phone while your bike is on the road.
- Pay a company account. Get a receipt or invoice. Payments to personal numbers with no bill are hard to dispute later.
- Do not pay in full upfront. A small booking amount is fine. If someone asks for everything before pickup, that is a warning sign.
- Do a pickup inspection. Photos or a video of the bike from all sides, with the odometer reading, and a signed condition sheet.
- Plan the Kannur delivery. Coastal roads near Payyambalam are narrow and busy on weekends, so choose a weekday for delivery.
List of Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Noida to Kannur (And When NOC Matters)
For the Noida to Kannur lane, keep the papers short: ownership, ID, insurance and a clear address at each end. A longer explanation is in our documents guide.
Keep these ready
- Insurance copy: the current policy. It should be valid on the day of loading, and third-party cover is the minimum.
- Authority letter: needed when a friend, relative or building staff hands over or receives the bike. Attach their ID.
- Bank letter: if the RC shows a bank under hypothecation, keep the lender's consent letter or NOC with you.
- Contact numbers: one person in Noida who can speak to the guard and one in Kannur for the driver.
- RC (registration certificate): a copy goes with the bike and you keep the original. Noida bikes carry UP-16 plates, but many on the road are still on DL plates.
- Owner's ID: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport, with the same name as on the RC.
When NOC matters
An NOC is not needed just to put a bike on a carrier. It matters when the bike will stay in Kerala for a long time. Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for more than 12 months has to be registered afresh there. For that you need a No Objection Certificate (Form 28) from the registering authority of the bike, normally the Gautam Buddh Nagar RTO in Noida for a UP-16 plate, and then you register with the RTO in Kannur.
For a temporary stay, such as a course or a short posting, you can usually keep the existing registration and skip the NOC. When in doubt, apply before the bike leaves Noida, and clear any pending challans first because they can hold the application. A BH series plate, if you qualify, avoids re-registration altogether.
Complete Step-By-Step Booking Process of Bike Transport from Noida to Kannur: Including Pickup To Delivery
This is how a normal booking runs. Our how it works page has more detail.
- Start with the form. Give your name, number and bike. If the bike is a Pulsar or Jupiter and the drop is near Thavakkara, mention it so the quote fits.
- Read the quote. For 2,530 km it should show the total with GST, about 7–9 days on the road, and what is included. A commuter bike on this route starts near ₹6,900.
- Prepare the bike. Drain the tank to about a litre, remove accessories and clean it so scratches show up in the photos.
- Pickup in Delhi NCR. The crew inspects the bike with you, photographs it, wraps and straps it, and gives you a signed condition sheet.
- On the road. The carrier follows NH44. Ask for a call at the main halts; that is normal on a 2,530 km run.
- Be reachable. The driver rings ahead. Have the gate pass or society permission ready so the vehicle is not turned away.
- Check, sign and pay the balance. Compare the bike against your pickup photos before signing. Write any scratch on the delivery sheet at the time.
In Kannur we usually deliver to Thavakkara, Fort Road, Thana, Pallikunnu, Payyambalam and Thalassery. Coastal roads near Payyambalam are narrow and busy on weekends, so choose a weekday for delivery.

Common Mistakes People Make On This Bike Transport Route from Noida (And How You Avoid Them)
- Booking the peak slot. Between 9 and 11 am and 5 and 8 pm, the DND Flyway, Chilla border and Sector 62 are jammed. Ask for an early pickup.
- Choosing only on price. A quote far below the others usually means a shared, transfer-heavy journey or missing insurance.
- Leaving accessories on. Mirrors, GPS holders, saddlebags and phone mounts go missing or break. Take them off.
- Skipping the photos. Without pickup photos, a damage claim becomes your word against theirs.
- A mistake specific to Kannur. Treating Kannur and Thalassery as the same place. They are 20 km apart, so be clear on the drop address.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Thavakkara, Fort Road, Thana, Pallikunnu, Payyambalam and Thalassery. Coastal roads near Payyambalam are narrow and busy on weekends, so choose a weekday for delivery.
