Bike Transport from Noida To Gaya Overview: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Gaya is a pilgrimage town for Hindus and Buddhists, with Bodh Gaya nearby. Monks, hotel staff and families move there from Noida.
The road distance is about 950 km and the usual transit is 3–5 days from the day the carrier leaves Noida. Add a day at either end for pickup and for the delivery appointment, and you have the real timeline. The route normally follows NH19 through Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Sasaram.
| Road distance | About 950 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 3–5 days |
| Express transit | 2–4 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹4,300 onwards |
| Pickup | Noida and the rest of NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Gaya and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
Winter fog and the Pitru Paksha pilgrim rush bring slow roads. The Sasaram to Gaya stretch has heavy trucks.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Gaya. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. Winter fog on the Uttar Pradesh stretch and monsoon flooding between July and September are the two seasons that stretch delivery dates.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from inside Noida's sectors is quickest. If you are in Delhi, Gurgaon or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
Pickup from Noida: what to expect
Collection in Noida mostly happens at society gates and sector roads. Guards check the vehicle against a list and some towers allow goods vehicles only in fixed hours. Common pickup areas are Sector 137, Sector 75, Sector 44, Gaur City and Sector 128.
Noida has the best start for Gaya: the Yamuna Expressway begins inside the city, so the vehicle gets onto the corridor without touching Delhi's roads. That alone saves roughly 50 km compared with a Delhi pickup. The DND Flyway and the Mahamaya flyover are slow in office hours, so ask for a pickup in the first half of the day.
If the bike starts in Delhi instead of Noida, see our Delhi to Gaya bike transport page, and for Gurgaon pickups see Gurgaon to Gaya bike transport.
Looking to Shift Your Bike from Noida to Gaya! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Noida To Gaya
There are really only three options. Here is how each one works out on this route.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
This is the usual choice. The bike is packed at your door, travels in a closed vehicle and is brought to your Gaya address. Budget ₹4,300 to ₹5,900 for a commuter bike and 3–5 days of transit, and keep your phone on during the trip. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
Possible, but slow. The bike goes by parcel train from a Noida station, and you collect it at Gaya. Packing is on you, the tank must be nearly empty, and transit depends on which trains run that week, so it can take longer than a carrier. If the parcel office at Gaya cannot take two-wheelers, you are stuck, so ask first. See our train vs truck comparison.
3. Ride it yourself
950 km is 3 days of riding at a comfortable pace, and 2 nights on the road. Fuel is around ₹2,000 for a commuter bike (about ₹3,000 for a 350cc Royal Enfield). Toll is free for bikes, but hotels, food and a return ticket are not. It works if you want the trip. It does not work if you are in a hurry or the bike is new and still running in.

For most people moving house or job, the covered carrier is the one that makes sense. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Noida To Gaya Bike Transport Costs in 2026: What You’re Really Paying For
No one should pay for a Noida to Gaya bike move without seeing the full breakup, so here it is.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹3,950 – ₹5,250 | 3–5 days |
| Commuter bike (100–160cc) | ₹4,300 – ₹5,900 | 3–5 days |
| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹5,200 – ₹7,250 | 3–5 days |
| Sports bike (300cc+) | ₹8,200 – ₹11,500 | 3–5 days |
| Superbike (650cc+) | Quoted after we know the exact model | |
Where the money goes (commuter bike, mid-range quote of ₹5,100)
| Item | Approx. amount |
|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (Noida to Gaya) | ₹3,050 |
| Loading, strapping and standard wrap | ₹500 |
| Door pickup and door delivery | ₹750 |
| GST at 18% | ₹800 |
| Total | ₹5,100 |
Factors That Affect Bike Shipping Cost
- Transit insurance: 2.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of ₹300. On a bike valued at ₹80,000 that is about ₹2,000, plus GST.
- Express delivery: costs roughly a quarter more on the transport charge and cuts the trip to 2–4 days.
- Difficult access: if the truck cannot reach your gate, a smaller vehicle for the last stretch may cost extra. Tell us the address up front.
- Depot instead of door: if you can bring the bike to a hub or collect it from one, the ₹750 door charge and its GST drop off.
- Waiting time: if the driver is kept waiting at pickup or delivery for hours, waiting charges can apply. Ask the policy before you book.
What moves the final number on this route
- Distance. Each extra 100 km on this lane adds roughly ₹300 to a commuter bike's price. Noida to Gaya is about 950 km.
- Bike size and weight. At 950 km a scooter starts near ₹3,950, a commuter near ₹4,300, a Royal Enfield near ₹5,200 and a sports bike near ₹8,200. Heavier bikes take more space and strapping.
- Access at both ends. A basement bay, a lift-only lobby or a lane that a truck cannot enter means extra hands or a smaller vehicle, and extra cost.
- Condition of the bike. A bike that will not start needs more people to load. Say so when you ask for the quote.
- Season and demand. Prices move up around Diwali, Holi and the academic year start, when more people are shifting.
- Flexibility on dates. A pickup window of three to five days is cheaper than a fixed same-day demand.
- Packing grade and insurance value. Premium wrapping adds about ₹900, and insurance is 2.5% of the declared value, so a higher declared value costs more.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Transport from Noida
Before any money moves for a Noida to Gaya booking, go through these points. They apply to every company, including us.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Gaya delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 950 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Pay a company account. Get a receipt or invoice. Payments to personal numbers with no bill are hard to dispute later.
- Ask for a contact number for the trip. Someone should pick up the phone while your bike is on the road.
- Look at the insurance papers. Find out what is covered (theft, accident, loading damage), what you pay first, and whom to call if something goes wrong.
- Prepare the bike. Keep fuel to about a litre, tape or disconnect the battery lead, remove loose accessories and keep one key with you. Our how to prepare your bike guide covers the rest.
- Do not pay in full upfront. A small booking amount is fine. If someone asks for everything before pickup, that is a warning sign.
- Plan the Gaya delivery. During Pitru Paksha in September and October, roads in the town are crowded. Avoid that fortnight.
List of Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Noida to Gaya (And When NOC Matters)
Missing papers hold up more Noida shipments than any road does. These are the ones to keep ready for Gaya; the documents article has the rest.
Keep these ready
- Bank letter: if the RC shows a bank under hypothecation, keep the lender's consent letter or NOC with you.
- Contact numbers: one person in Noida who can speak to the guard and one in Gaya for the driver.
- RC (registration certificate): a copy goes with the bike and you keep the original. Noida bikes carry UP-16 plates, but many on the road are still on DL plates.
- Owner's ID: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport, with the same name as on the RC.
- Address proof: for the Noida pickup and for the delivery in Gaya. A rent agreement, utility bill or society letter all work.
- Insurance copy: the current policy. It should be valid on the day of loading, and third-party cover is the minimum.
When NOC matters
An NOC is not needed just to put a bike on a carrier. It matters when the bike will stay in Bihar for a long time. Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for more than 12 months has to be registered afresh there. For that you need a No Objection Certificate (Form 28) from the registering authority of the bike, normally the Gautam Buddh Nagar RTO in Noida for a UP-16 plate, and then you register with the RTO in Gaya.
For a temporary stay, such as a course or a short posting, you can usually keep the existing registration and skip the NOC. When in doubt, apply before the bike leaves Noida, and clear any pending challans first because they can hold the application. A BH series plate, if you qualify, avoids re-registration altogether.

Common Mistakes People Make On This Bike Transport Route from Noida (And How You Avoid Them)
- Forgetting Greater Noida West gate rules. New societies in Noida Extension have strict gate procedures. Ask the AOA what the vehicle needs before the crew arrives.

- Ignoring the weather. Winter fog on the Uttar Pradesh stretch and monsoon flooding between July and September are the two seasons that stretch delivery dates. Ask for a flexible window.
- Booking too late. Last-minute bookings get whatever vehicle is free, often at a higher rate. Book three to five days ahead on this route.
- A mistake specific to Gaya. Booking delivery in the Pitru Paksha fortnight. The city sees lakhs of pilgrims and roads are closed.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Civil Lines, Kachahari Road, Bodh Gaya, Magadh Colony, Station Road and Manpur. During Pitru Paksha in September and October, roads in the town are crowded. Avoid that fortnight.
