Gurgaon To Bangalore Bike Transport Basics: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Anyone moving from Delhi NCR to Bangalore for an IT job is on the longest regular route we handle, which is why most people here ask about the price first and the days second.
This is a long one: about 2,135 km and 6–8 days on the road. Anyone who quotes you less than a week for a haul this size should be asked, politely, how they plan to do it. The route normally follows NH44 through Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Kurnool before turning into Karnataka.
| Road distance | About 2,135 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 6–8 days |
| Express transit | 4–6 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹6,500 onwards |
| Pickup | Gurgaon and the rest of NCR (Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Bangalore and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
Distance is only part of it. The Nagpur–Hyderabad stretch is where trucks lose most time in the rains, and Bengaluru's own entry rules for goods vehicles can add a night to the schedule.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Bangalore. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. Rain on the west side from June to September and the north-east monsoon on the east coast from October to December slow trucks. Winter fog affects only the first day out of Gurgaon.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from inside Gurgaon's sectors is quickest. If you are in Gurgaon, Noida or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
Pickup from Gurgaon: what to expect
Pickups in Gurgaon run through societies and sector roads. Guards check the vehicle against a list, and some societies allow goods vehicles only in set hours. We usually collect from places such as Sohna Road, Golf Course Road, Sushant Lok, Palam Vihar and Udyog Vihar.
Vehicles for Bangalore usually leave Gurgaon through Faridabad and Palwal and join the Agra corridor, a little shorter than starting from Delhi. Peak-hour jams around IFFCO Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk and the Golf Course Road underpass can delay a late-morning loading, so an early slot works better.

How to shift my Bike from Gurgaon! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Gurgaon To Bangalore
There are really only three options. Here is how each one works out on this route.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
A trained crew wraps the bike, straps it to a frame inside a covered vehicle, and the same company takes it to your Bangalore address. For most people this is the sensible choice: about ₹6,500 to ₹8,900 for a commuter bike, 6–8 days on the road, and nothing for you to arrange apart from being there at both ends. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
On this distance, parcel trains involve more than one connection, and a bike left at a transfer station gets damaged more often than one on a single carrier. If you do try it, book a direct service where possible, and ask the parcel office at Bangalore whether they take two-wheelers. More on that in our train vs truck guide.
3. Ride it yourself
2,135 km means 6 days of riding and 5 hotel nights. Fuel alone is about ₹4,500 for a commuter and about ₹6,750 for a 350cc bike. It is a real trip, not a relocation tool, and a long ride ages tyres, chain and brakes. Few people do it for a house move.

At this distance, a covered carrier is the only practical way to move the bike, unless you want an adventure. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Gurgaon To Bangalore Bike Transport Costs in 2026: What You’re Really Paying For
Here are the numbers for a bike going from Gurgaon to Bangalore. They include standard packing, loading, GST and door pickup and delivery. Insurance is optional and comes on top.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹5,950 – ₹7,850 | 6–8 days |
| Commuter bike (100–160cc) | ₹6,500 – ₹8,900 | 6–8 days |
| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹7,800 – ₹10,900 | 6–8 days |
| Sports bike (300cc+) | ₹12,300 – ₹17,250 | 6–8 days |
| Superbike (650cc+) | Quoted after we know the exact model | |
Where the money goes (commuter bike, mid-range quote of ₹7,700)
| Item | Approx. amount |
|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (Gurgaon to Bangalore) | ₹5,000 |
| Loading, strapping and standard wrap | ₹800 |
| Door pickup and door delivery | ₹750 |
| GST at 18% | ₹1,150 |
| Total | ₹7,700 |
What can push the price up or down
- Transit insurance: 2.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of ₹300. On a bike valued at ₹60,000 that is about ₹1,500, plus GST.
- Express delivery: adds about 25% to the transport portion and brings the time down to 4–6 days.
- Depot instead of door: if you can bring the bike to a hub or collect it from one, the ₹750 door charge and its GST drop off.
- Difficult access: a narrow lane or a low basement can mean a smaller vehicle for the last stretch, and that can cost extra. Say so when you ask for the quote.
- Premium wrap: adds about ₹900 for extra padding and a crate-style frame, worth it for a new or high-value bike.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Shipping from Gurgaon
Most complaints about bike shipping start with a rushed advance payment. Before you send money, run through this list.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Bangalore delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 2,135 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Pay a company account. Get a receipt or invoice. Payments to personal numbers with no bill are hard to dispute later.
- Prepare the bike. Keep fuel to about a litre, tape or disconnect the battery lead, remove loose accessories and keep one key with you. Our how to prepare your bike guide covers the rest.
- Do not pay in full upfront. A small booking amount is fine. If someone asks for everything before pickup, that is a warning sign.
- Check the company is real. Ask for the GST number, the registered office address and a landline or office you can visit or video call. Search the name with reviews.
- Do a pickup inspection. Photos or a video of the bike from all sides, with the odometer reading, and a signed condition sheet.
- Plan the Bangalore delivery. Whitefield and Electronic City traffic is heavy from morning to late evening, so deliveries to those areas are usually planned for early hours.
List of Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Bangalore (And When NOC Matters)
For a Gurgaon to Bangalore booking, keep the papers short and clean: ownership, ID, insurance and a clear address at both ends. The longer explanation sits in our documents guide.
Keep these ready
- Owner's ID proof: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport, with the name matching the RC.
- Address proof: for the pickup in Gurgaon and for the delivery in Bangalore. A rent agreement or utility bill works.
- Insurance copy: the current policy. Third-party cover is the minimum, and the policy should not be expired on the day of loading.
- Authority letter: if a friend, relative or the society staff hands over or receives the bike, with their ID attached.
- Loan papers: if the RC shows a bank under hypothecation, keep the lender's consent letter or NOC with you.
- Phone numbers and landmarks: one contact in Gurgaon for the guard and one in Bangalore for the driver.
When NOC matters
An NOC is not needed just to put a bike on a carrier. It matters when the bike will live in Karnataka for a long time. Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for over 12 months has to be registered afresh there. For that you need a No Objection Certificate (Form 28) from the registering authority of the bike, normally the Gurugram RTO for an HR-26 plate or the Delhi RTO for a DL plate, and then you register with the RTO in Bangalore.
If the move is temporary, for a course or a short posting, you can usually keep the existing registration and skip the NOC. When in doubt, apply for the NOC before the bike leaves Gurgaon. Clear any pending challans first, since they can hold the application up. Owners who qualify for a BH series plate do not need re-registration at all.
Complete Step-By-Step Booking Process of Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Bangalore: Pickup To Delivery
Most bookings follow these seven steps. Our how it works page has more detail.
- Send your details. The form above takes a minute. We need the bike model, whether it starts, and the two addresses: one in Golf Course Road or elsewhere in Delhi NCR, one in Bangalore.
- Read the quote. For 2,135 km it should show the total with GST, about 6–8 days on the road, and what is included. A commuter bike on this route starts near ₹6,500.
- Clear the bike. Remove the helmet lock gadgets, mirrors-mounted cameras and luggage. Keep one key and the RC with you.
- Pickup in Delhi NCR. The crew inspects the bike with you, photographs it, wraps and straps it, and gives you a signed condition sheet.
- While it travels. Keep your phone on. A delay from weather or a breakdown is reported to you, not hidden until the due date.
- Delivery slot. The driver calls before arrival. Share the exact address, gate and a person who can sign.
- Check, sign and pay the balance. Compare the bike against your pickup photos before signing. Write any scratch on the delivery sheet at the time.
In Bangalore we usually deliver to Whitefield, Electronic City, Koramangala, HSR Layout, Marathahalli and Yelahanka. Whitefield and Electronic City traffic is heavy from morning to late evening, so deliveries to those areas are usually planned for early hours.

Mistakes People Make On This Bike Transport Route from Gurgaon (And How You Avoid Them)
- Booking a pickup at peak hours. Between 9 and 11 am and from 5 to 8 pm the roads around Golf Course Road and Hero Honda Chowk are jammed. Ask for an early slot.
- Trusting a verbal promise. If the days or the price are not on paper, they are not a promise.
- Leaving a full tank. Carriers can refuse a bike with lots of fuel. Keep about a litre.
- Forgetting the second key. Hand over only one, and keep the other with you.
- A mistake specific to Bangalore. Booking the cheapest quote without asking whether the bike travels on one truck all the way. On 2,000-plus km a transfer at Nagpur or Hyderabad is where scratches and delays happen.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Whitefield, Electronic City, Koramangala, HSR Layout, Marathahalli and Yelahanka. Whitefield and Electronic City traffic is heavy from morning to late evening, so deliveries to those areas are usually planned for early hours.
