Gurgaon To Mysuru Bike Transport Basics: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Infosys campus staff, university students and retirees choose Mysuru for its calm. Many carriers go to Bangalore first and then take the expressway.
This is a long one: about 2,315 km and 7–9 days on the road. Anyone who quotes you less than a week for a haul this size should be asked, politely, how they plan to do it. The route normally follows NH44 to Bangalore, then the Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway.
| Road distance | About 2,315 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 7–9 days |
| Express transit | 4–6 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹6,650 onwards |
| Pickup | Gurgaon and the rest of NCR (Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Mysuru and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
Almost all the delay is in the Gurgaon–Bangalore leg. The Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway itself is fast, and the Dasara festival in October brings extra traffic.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Mysuru. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. Rain on the west side from June to September and the north-east monsoon on the east coast from October to December slow trucks. Winter fog affects only the first day out of Gurgaon.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from inside Gurgaon's sectors is quickest. If you are in Gurgaon, Noida or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
Pickup from Gurgaon: what to expect
Most Gurgaon bookings begin in a society or a company campus. Common starting points are DLF Phase 3, Sector 56, Sohna Road, Golf Course Road and Sushant Lok. A pre-informed guard saves an hour at the gate.
Vehicles for Mysuru usually leave Gurgaon through Faridabad and Palwal and join the Agra corridor, a little shorter than starting from Delhi. Office-hour traffic on Golf Course Road and at Hero Honda Chowk is heavy, which is why morning pickups are the easiest.

How to shift my Bike from Gurgaon! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Gurgaon To Mysuru
There are really only three options. Here is how each one works out on this route.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
The crew comes to you, wraps the bike, ties it down inside a covered body, and delivers to your Mysuru address. A commuter bike runs about ₹6,650 to ₹9,150, with 7–9 days on the road. You only need to be present at pickup and at delivery. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
On this distance, parcel trains involve more than one connection, and a bike left at a transfer station gets damaged more often than one on a single carrier. If you do try it, book a direct service where possible, and ask the parcel office at Mysuru whether they take two-wheelers. More on that in our train vs truck guide.
3. Ride it yourself
2,315 km means 6 days of riding and 5 hotel nights. Fuel alone is about ₹4,900 for a commuter and about ₹7,350 for a 350cc bike. It is a real trip, not a relocation tool, and a long ride ages tyres, chain and brakes. Few people do it for a house move.

At this distance, a covered carrier is the only practical way to move the bike, unless you want an adventure. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Gurgaon To Mysuru Bike Transport Costs in 2026: What You’re Really Paying For
Prices below are what most customers pay on this route. They are ranges because the same cc can mean different weight and handling, and because carriers price by the week's load.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹6,150 – ₹8,100 | 7–9 days |
| Commuter bike (100–160cc) | ₹6,650 – ₹9,150 | 7–9 days |
| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹8,000 – ₹11,200 | 7–9 days |
| Sports bike (300cc+) | ₹12,650 – ₹17,750 | 7–9 days |
| Superbike (650cc+) | Quoted after we know the exact model | |
Where the money goes (commuter bike, mid-range quote of ₹7,900)
| Item | Approx. amount |
|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (Gurgaon to Mysuru) | ₹5,100 |
| Loading, strapping and standard wrap | ₹850 |
| Door pickup and door delivery | ₹750 |
| GST at 18% | ₹1,200 |
| Total | ₹7,900 |
Extras and adjustments
- Transit insurance: 2.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of ₹300. On a bike valued at ₹1,00,000 that is about ₹2,500, plus GST.
- Express delivery: costs roughly a quarter more on the transport charge and cuts the trip to 4–6 days.
- Difficult access: if the truck cannot reach your gate, a smaller vehicle for the last stretch may cost extra. Tell us the address up front.
- Waiting time: if the driver is kept waiting at pickup or delivery for hours, waiting charges can apply. Ask the policy before you book.
- Depot instead of door: if you can bring the bike to a hub or collect it from one, the ₹750 door charge and its GST drop off.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Shipping from Gurgaon
A few minutes of checking can save you a lot. Here is what to confirm before paying anyone an advance.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Mysuru delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 2,315 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Pay a company account. Get a receipt or invoice. Payments to personal numbers with no bill are hard to dispute later.
- Check the company is real. Ask for the GST number, the registered office address and a landline or office you can visit or video call. Search the name with reviews.
- Ask for a contact number for the trip. Someone should pick up the phone while your bike is on the road.
- Do not pay in full upfront. A small booking amount is fine. If someone asks for everything before pickup, that is a warning sign.
- Prepare the bike. Keep fuel to about a litre, tape or disconnect the battery lead, remove loose accessories and keep one key with you. Our how to prepare your bike guide covers the rest.
- Plan the Mysuru delivery. Palace-area roads restrict heavy vehicles during Dasara, so drop points move to the outer ring road.
List of Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Mysuru (And When NOC Matters)
Most bike shipments from Gurgaon are held up by missing papers, not by the road. Here is what to keep ready for Mysuru, and the longer list is in our documents article.
Keep these ready
- Loan papers: if the RC shows a bank under hypothecation, keep the lender's consent letter or NOC with you.
- Phone numbers and landmarks: one contact in Gurgaon for the guard and one in Mysuru for the driver.
- RC (registration certificate): a copy goes with the bike; you keep the original. Gurgaon bikes carry an HR-26 plate, though many local bikes are still on DL plates.
- Owner's ID proof: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport, with the name matching the RC.
- Address proof: for the pickup in Gurgaon and for the delivery in Mysuru. A rent agreement or utility bill works.
- Insurance copy: the current policy. Third-party cover is the minimum, and the policy should not be expired on the day of loading.
When NOC matters
An NOC is not needed just to put a bike on a carrier. It matters when the bike will live in Karnataka for a long time. Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for over 12 months has to be registered afresh there. For that you need a No Objection Certificate (Form 28) from the registering authority of the bike, normally the Gurugram RTO for an HR-26 plate or the Delhi RTO for a DL plate, and then you register with the RTO in Mysuru.
If the move is temporary, for a course or a short posting, you can usually keep the existing registration and skip the NOC. When in doubt, apply for the NOC before the bike leaves Gurgaon. Clear any pending challans first, since they can hold the application up. Owners who qualify for a BH series plate do not need re-registration at all.
Complete Step-By-Step Booking Process of Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Mysuru: Pickup To Delivery
Here is the sequence on a typical booking. Our how it works page has more detail.
- Start with the form. Give your name, number and bike. If the bike is a Duke or R15 and the drop is near Vijayanagar, mention it so the quote fits.
- Compare and confirm. You get a written quote with the days. Pay a small booking amount only after reading it.
- Prepare the bike. Drain the tank to about a litre, remove accessories and clean it so scratches show up in the photos.
- Pickup day. Someone should be at the house to sign. The bike is photographed from all sides, wrapped, strapped and loaded.
- On the road. The carrier follows NH44 to Bangalore. Ask for a call at the main halts; that is normal on a 2,315 km run.
- Delivery slot. The driver calls before arrival. Share the exact address, gate and a person who can sign.
- Check, sign and pay the balance. Compare the bike against your pickup photos before signing. Write any scratch on the delivery sheet at the time.
In Mysuru we usually deliver to Vijayanagar, Kuvempunagar, Hebbal, Saraswathipuram, Gokulam and Jayalakshmipuram. Palace-area roads restrict heavy vehicles during Dasara, so drop points move to the outer ring road.

Mistakes People Make On This Bike Transport Route from Gurgaon (And How You Avoid Them)
- Leaving the bike in the basement without a note. If the crew cannot reach it because of a locked bay or low clearance, the pickup is rescheduled. Bring the bike to the ground level the night before.
- Ignoring the weather. Rain on the west side from June to September and the north-east monsoon on the east coast from October to December slow trucks. Winter fog affects only the first day out of Gurgaon. Ask for a flexible window.
- Leaving accessories on. Mirrors, GPS holders, saddlebags and phone mounts go missing or break. Take them off.
- Not checking who signs. Whoever signs at delivery accepts the bike as is, so have the right person there.
- A mistake specific to Mysuru. Choosing Dasara week for delivery. Roads are crowded and tours restrict vehicles.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Vijayanagar, Kuvempunagar, Hebbal, Saraswathipuram, Gokulam and Jayalakshmipuram. Palace-area roads restrict heavy vehicles during Dasara, so drop points move to the outer ring road.
